I've said it before....

Only the most blatantly obvious repetitive training should be enforced.

This is especially crucial because there is no specific rules list. In pvp, people run around like idiots and shit gets aggro'd. Its happened since the beginning of eq and will continue to happen until you ban every last person on the server and there's no one left.

Even if the training is intentional...

Unless people are stupid, the trainer should always cause more harm to themselves then the people they are trying to train.

This is especially true on a server where root lands 1/10 times with max resists. A raid force should have no problem combating trainers.

Are people really having problems with this? Wouldn't a GM's time be better spent sitting in a room by themselves just thinking of ways to improve the server?
This is one of the best posts I have ever read on these boards, it's a shame that it doesn't matter though. The issue with enforcing training, beyond what you just stated, is that it will always be enforced unequally. Player A will train Player B, get away with it, Player B will train Player A back later, get caught and suspended, Player A now laughs and makes posts on RNF. That isn't EverQuest, it's PetitonQuest, and it's lame as fuck.
