That's the only reason you were mugged. Hood rats saw you coming from a mile away and knew you didn't belong on the street. Next time sag your jeans, throw on a huge white t-shirt, some Timberland boots, and a Baltimore hat and they'll invite you in on mugging the next nerdy white guy to turn the corner.
