Actually, I agree with him. And I don't care about his past on this server, or yours, or anybody's. It's blatantly obvious from a complete and utter noob's perspective (albeit a drunk one's, so go easy on me [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]) - you guys are riding the fucking line, and you know it. I seen a lot of guys riding the line like that in my old profession, flying jets in the Navy - and you know what, those "training accidents" you hear about in the news every once in awhile - they're guys like TMO. You work so hard to make it to the top, you bust your ass, you put in the hours, your learn your jet, you know how far you can take the throttle. Basically, you learn what you can and can't get away with. Here's the rub, it takes one fucking lesson to learn when you've gone too far. Crossing that line in the air leaves you dead, and your wife and kids without a husband and a father.

Yeah, yeah, this is just a fucking game, but humans are humans, and so is our fucking nature. You guys are on top, I get that. You will do anything to maintain peak performance; you're competitors. That's fucking awesome. So am I. But the minute you set aside the rules (we say the rules in aviation were written in the blood of past pilot's mistakes) - that's when you fuck up, you get caught, you go down in a ball of fire.

Look, my advice to TMO, for what it's worth - don't ever sacrifice integrity to stay on top, it's not worth it. Integrity is simply defined as what you would do if no one was looking. I know this shit is the interwebz and all that, and anonymity reigns supreme, but a true man's (or woman's) self is measured by his integrity. The minute you give up on your integrity is the minute you give up on your worth, and in the world of aviation, your life.

Take that for what it is... a drunk man's ramblings.

P.S. Your guild really needs to create a position titled PR rep - your image (if you even care about it, at this point) has been tarnished (from a completely neutral perspective) beyond reproach. They used to tell us in the Navy that we were all ambassador's of our nation every time we stepped foot in another country. And it was true. One fuck up by a guy in uniform was in the news world wide.
I was in the Navy too !..... So STFU Shippie!
We don't set aside rules. We were one of the only guilds to boot our cheaters at hackfest 2011. Where we were pulling to was a perfectly legitimate pull spot accessible by grav flux. Pulling to where we were did nothing to exploit or trivialize any encounter in VP and in some cases made them harder.

As it has been proven in the past we won't do everything to stay on top. Cheating isn't fun for us. The only thing we are guilty of is finding a kick ass pull spot that server admins didn't like.

The only reason we even used that spot which is honestly a PITA to get to is to hide from VD's memblur exploit team. A guild who rather grief a raid than bring their own force to VP.

We must be doing something right to tarnish our image so badly that we have record levels up apps with no sign of slowing.

But I am glad Harrison has one supporter some drunk ex flight jock who never got out of his T-45
