I agree with you to some extent, I prefer 'keeping it classic', but not everybody agrees, and it wouldn't kill my experience if there was OOC and YT and xp bonus(this is already in, I disagree with it but I can't disagree with the effects)
Also, I hope the new people I've encountered weren't bored mains rolling up alts, because if they were dying to level 1 monsters and asking for help that would be very embarrassing.
Just because YOU got bored farming frenzy for the 5th month straight, Arzak, does not mean that new players are all bored alts. Log on sometimes outside of raid times and check out the newbie zones. Especially in prime time(yes, I know it's raid time then, but if you can squeeze in a trip before or after your raid). Throw some newbies some Valor buffs etc. It's a blast.
