A wise player would look at all Velious cloak items that are DROP and see how the stats/classes/races stack up against your overpriced 50k cloak.
If there is a tradeable back piece that's better, I will bet you that 50k that it will drop in price by at least 50%.

It'll definitely drop the price but I don't think by half. My guild leader on live farmed the heck out of the heiro cloaks by himself in PoP (While my guild was farming PoTime mind you) and selling the plat he got for IRL cash. Heiro cloaks are still awesome for a very long time to come...
...but again, the price will drop once velious comes back and people go "ohh look, new shiny!!!!!"
