He was 7 days when the epics first came out, for almost 2 months or so, then they patched in several changes to spawn times for mobs with insane respawn times involved in epic quests.


I do not have a list, however the Ishva Mal was one of the other mobs that had long spawn timer changed. Ishva was changed to a mere 27? minutes, assuming the same as the regular zone respawn.

It was around october - november 2000. There were no notes in any of the patches unfortunatally, but this stuff did in fact happen.

Now I don't ever remember a 6hr spawn? But we are seeing more low spawn times. And the original walkthru "Soulfire made easy" is posted above that a few. Probably I stopped reading at that and didnt notice the updated 2 under it (same ones looks like) However it mentions nothing of Lucans spawn time.

Anyone have any good links or paths to patch files I can go thru in wayback ?

That's correct. It eventually got changed to 12 hours, epic patch or close to it. I havent been able to find any specific sources, only incomplete walkthrus which tbh doesnt say much.

This isnt much of a 'source' but hey, atleast its something!

I believe indeed that he was reduced from 1 week during the patch that reduced many epic cockblocks, not necessarily on epic release.
