You're talking to someone who, while not necessarily proud to admit it, browses /v/ on a daily basis. In fact the guild I run here was formed initially by people from /v/, though it is less so now with the exception of a few people including the officer staff (of which the above poster is one) because the general userbase of /v/ has the attention span of a rodent in a maze filled with different flavors of cheese in regards to anything that isn't shazbots or Katawa Shoujo. That being said i'm fully aware of what they discuss and can furthermore state that while, yes, they do in fact discuss video games it is not uncommon to see half the front page cluttered with non-vidya discussion.
