EQ was all about the people who showed dedication. The people who did camp things for hours on end.

Now what your opinion might be of someone who spends hours of their lives per day on a computer game is none of my business, but to whinge about it because you want the mobs they're camping etc. just comes across as sour grapes to me.

If you want to raid old world content and be uncontested, then possibly a private server for you and your friends might be what you want?

Raiding in EQ was always about the hardcore. Top guilds fight viciously for content, and until a newer expansion comes out, chances are they'll be taking pretty much all of it.
