Amelinda, if you're not aware, is the joke of a guide that got her position through a combination of Equal Rights, Feminist propaganda and flirting with Rogean. As you can assume, she spent the last year not being taken seriously by anyone on the server, Rogean included (there's quotes of him putting her down all over the place). So now, just to prove herself to the core players of the server, she tries to jump out with a hard line decision in a very public way.

The short of it is, she jumps in without knowing all the facts and some spiritual moment of clarity, that leads to the long lecture she posted and punishment of suspending one of the top 2 raid guilds for 2 weeks, and threatening them with banning. Within 3 hours, she gets loads of responses, actually reads information that has been available to her for weeks, and reverses the decision so that both of the top 2 raid guilds are suspended for 1 week.
This is then accompanied by a stern finger shake and an admonition to stop this feud, because that's clearly going to work after almost a full year of minimal GM involvement. Moving ahead 5 days...
TMO raid suspension secretly lifted - Project 1999
After the very public suspensions and threats, one of the guilds manages to talk Amelinda into ending the raid suspension early for them only, so 2 days are knocked off their 7 day sentence, but they are told by Amelinda to keep it a secret, as if no one is going to notice.
So begins the current era of p99, with the person holding the majority of the power (because we know Rogean really doesn't care enough to deal with it) being the server joke that can't form or hold her own opinion, but rather has to have it fed to her by the most persuasive tells. And it's not just one side, in her year as a guide she's been manipulated by multiple guilds in multiple situations. The next few months until this finally blows up is going to be a plethora of accusations of favoritism from both sides, and both will be right, because she might as well be the town bike.
Congratulations on a job well done Rogean, I'm sure everyone is glad to see that Uthgaard taught you nothing. EQMac is going to quadruple in population.
