Item loot would be alright except u dont have 3000 n00bs playing this game like back in 2000, u have 100 vets and 25 pepople who just like everquest, ur gonna have 90 OP classes 10 clerics and 25 people who dont know what to pick because they have never played the end game of EQ and dont know the OP classes. Your gonna have groups of 4 or 5 friends have 6 SK's camped in Guk/solb ur gonna have these guys log in there SK's chain HT a few people loot a couple items log back out, ur gonna have people running around in ganks everywhere, ur gonna have groups camping port in's, , item loot is fun but it brings very little "PvP" it brings more Ganks in groups, people gate on site if they have no mana or know they are going to lose the fight or will just bag all their gear(some do this now but watch the % increase by alot). Item drops would have to be increase because who wants to spend 5 hours camping some item for 6 guys to roll up and gank it off you nowadays. I would be for item loot but you wouldn't see any pvp nowdays, just 2 many people who have played this game for 13 14 years, and know all the in's / outs and all the OP classes now.
PS. also the way root works and how Bolts are working i dont think item loot should be put in.
