I am having issues initializing this, after I select server and hit "play everquest" the window goes black and freezes. Any ideas?

WELL I ran it in compatibility mode for windows 7, instead of windows xp service pack 3, and i at least got to see it load with EQ music, then it crashed 2 seconds later.
