Interesting question, if you're behind a restrictive firewall (as I am at work, which is probably beneficial to my continued employment

Log in or Register.] ) I know that the login server uses port 5998 but doesn't the clients need to connect to zone processes using the ports assigned to them like 7001 etc? Or does world connect to those and serve them up through another port? I'll run a netstat tonight to see what ports are being used to run the game, but that won't cause the black screen of death, it would only crash when zoning... fix your screen resolution and see what happens!
Now where have we heard about "crashing when zoning..." Hmmmm
