That's not the way I remember everquest pvp.. everquest pvp was anything but like quake, it was pvp for legitimate reasons, over disputes. If you automatically attack every random person like quake people will continue to constantly quit.
People get so consumed by the "OMG CAREBEAR" or "OMG BLUEBIE" that they think to legitimize themselves they have to be rock hard straight to the core kill everyone hate everyone love nobody and fuck the world. What are we teenagers?
Point of post - I know it's a lot to ask for, but maybe we need to act just a bit more classy to attract the population you all apparently seem to seek.

I think the style of pvp you describe would be fine if it weren't the case that 99% of the server population adopted that style. I feel practically meaningless as an anti-pk because 99% of the server is a valid target for me, which makes me functionally no different from the random-pk's (except for a few minor details like having graduated from high school, showering more than once a week, and me being all around smarter and better looking than the pk's).
