1. Ignore trolls, people are mad their guild isn't on top and want server to die. Community in-game is 100x better then these forums.

2. Play whatever class you want, fuck everyone else but picking a solo/group friendly class (Magician/Enchanter/Necromancer/Shaman/Druid) is probably a good idea for your first toon.

3. EQ is the best "open world, realistic pvp with consequences" I have ever played. I can't stand any other MMO's because they are so vastly inferior.
