I agree with Odeseus. The restrictions are so harsh it just makes it not worth playing F2P EQ because you can't do much with it. If you want to do anything worthwhile you have to pay the sub. Tradeskillers are completely hosed with it. Not to mention the huge expanse of the game will make it hard to find people in some zones. The entire orientation of the game is set up to get players from lvl 1 to lvl 90 in as short a time as possible. However, upon arrival at lvl 90 no character is going to get much done unless they get the increased power spells, skills, and AAs.
I really am looking forward to EQNext which I assume will be F2P, but if they keep these kind of restrictions in, what's the point of it being F2P other than to get a look at the game before purchasing it?
