A "global OOC" strike is silly. I don't like global OOC either, but it was on blue99 also, and it was temporary - after the population got reasonably high (like 600+ a night?) it was removed. Then the population started stabilizing at around 900 every night. So I'm guessing the point is for red99 to grow to the point where it won't need global OOC anymore, and then removing it after. I don't know if global OOC will help that much, but it's a lot less likely to help if the good players like Ironlion don't stick around.

Like I said, I still won't like global OOC because mostly idiots will be using it, but if the staff thinks it could help the population then it should at least be tested.
