Don't forget that Iksar get an innate AC bonus which is something like +60 AC at level 60. Like wearing an extra BP. While they can't wear plate in Kunark, in Velious it wasn't an issue - making them the best Warriors.
Also, Ogres get frontal stun immunity which makes them the best possible shaman. Being able to get a slow or root off in a dire situation is integral.
