It's a rare bug but it has happened to me too, also in oasis. I camped out close to the barge and when I logged in the barge happened to be there and levitated me. The levitate never wore off.
It's funny from other peoples' point of view, since their clients will constantly show you falling to the ground, resetting into the air, and falling again
