Paladin is a very fun class to play, but you will need to group as a tank or go to zones that have a lot of undead in them. Solo to regular mobs a Paladin is not very good at damage. But at higher levels they are a great class to play.
Just way too slow to solo at really high levels, but a needed class in groups. I really like them in a group. In Velious they get even better as pullers.
