This logic is so flawed, the social dynamics of smoking is way more complicated like others have pointed to in this thread. Some of my all time most influential role models / heroes were and are smokers. Do I think they are morons? Nope, they are fucking geniuses who are changing the world for the better, which is more than can be said of Harrison.
I think one of the reasons why I started smoking as a youth, is that I have always harbored an anti-establishment attitude, the man told me not to smoke, so what did I do? Went out and smoked.
You live forever if you eat vegan food, exercise regularly, dont drink, eat small portions, and rest 8 hours or more and don't forget to drink lots of water!
Seriously though, mick jager, ozzy, deadmau5, nietzsche, winston churchil all lived lives that would blow the mundane sorry excuses of shit we call lives out of the water, and they all smoke or smoked heavily.
In a world of overpopulation, starvation, war, unregulated greed, exploitation, drugs, murder, rape, genocide, economic manipulation, fraud, fast food, global warming, oil dependance all based on the economic paradigm of infinite growth on a planet with finite resources....
