This is NOT the first time this has been gunned down. COICA was the first attempt and it was gunned down. Grassroots campaigns by people such as
Demand Progress and
Stop American Censorship have brought millions of emails and telephone calls directly to the White House in recent months...and
that's the reason the legislation has been stalling.
GoDaddy just had
thousands of accounts pulled because of their
previous pro-SOPA stance, and I say previous because the almighty pocketbook of the 99% made them change their minds.
