That situation involved a bunch of guilds sitting on a spawn point, when the mob spawns on top of them and the DT target is chosen. That's not the same as sniping a pull after someone takes a DT.

True, but after not being able to confirm if either guild had 15 on the spawn point, Rogean reverted to the FTE rule, ruling that the person who takes the DT does not hold aggro, and thus awarded FTE to the next person to aggro:
