Motec here is in the minority, Clerics offer a service just like anyone else, when i start getting ports for free i'll travel to you and rez you for free. To think any different because of some weird philosophical view you have of what a cleric is, is stupid. Obviously if there is a reason why you cannot tip that is something different entirely, but if you have money, give something, its not a hard concept.
