1999 PvP is the best game going right now. One day you get PKed 5 times by some bastard and the next day you find him and kill his ass. It gets your heart going and puts a pit in your belly.
You want to quit one day and can't wait to get up the next day to play. I don't know of anything that has that power in a game?? It can be a rush. Good or bad.
