History on Visage: he started a raid guild on P99 to compete with mine and "raided" solb while we were farming the planes, and eventually got laughed off the server. Then my guild merged with TR which is the #1 guild on the server. I was also one of the founding members and first raid leader of IB during the first few months of the server when we were completely destroying everyone, so yeah, I failed blue hard. But whatever, pve accomplishments are nothing especially on a server where GMs like to give undeserving guilds rotations and /randoms on content.
Nihilum is pretty small, and
every pvp engagement I've been in since uh... level 30? I've been outnumbered. EVERY time I 1v1 or 1v2 someone from Holocaust, I completely dominate (as a cleric, lawl) until a full group shows up in zone. We're not just dominating on the pve front, but also the pvp (see: Kringe dying 6+ times and wasting like 8 hours last night running from us). It isn't about hiding behind PvE, it's literally about Holocaust being zero challenge. We can't wait until they get more 42+, it's annoying running around for hours and finding no one within range.
And if anything, Plane of Fear would give us something to do instead of farming Holocaust, giving them time to level up and possibly present some sort of challenge. Although without hacks and GM accounts, I doubt that's going to happen. These guys are even worse than I remember, it's like a bunch of retarded clowns decided to roll on this server taking the name of old VZTZ players. A bunch of people in Nihilum have no pvp experience and still stomp the fuck out of them on a daily basis.
So, this thread comes from my disappointment of lack of pvp challenge. Cast mentioned to me that he wanted me in Holocaust on launch, but I ignored that considering that I wanted to be in an "underdog" guild. I just wasn't expecting Holocaust to
be this bad.
We like the game, so we're gonna play regardless. It's up to you, we can farm all the 42+ Holocaust all day, or we can go to Fear while you all play catch up, and then farm you in there.
