pickled can you ID the man in the picture I posted? What race is he? The point is that you can not accurately and definitively classify people based on factors such as skin color, which means it doesn't really work as a biological classification. And no one is saying that people don't have different traits, such as skin colors. But that's not a concrete biological difference that puts you into a "race" anymore than having big vs. small earlobes does.

if you can successfully classify just one person's race based on physical appearances alone, that means race is at least somewhat based on physical appearance (which is genetically heritable).
