The point is that you can not accurately and definitively classify people based on factors such as skin color, which means it doesn't really work as a biological classification. And no one is saying that people don't have different traits, such as skin colors. But that's not a concrete biological difference that puts you into a "race" anymore than having big vs. small earlobes does.
