Kick helps a little.. ..give the guy a break.
Proximity is good if you're rooting (or if there is a slight chance that you may be rooting).. ..also helps with push interrupts if my anecdotal observations are correct.
Not using taunt when using taunt is worthless helps you have taunt ready when you need it.
