I know your getting a lot of positive feedback already, but I want to chime in as well - keep up the great work! Theres a lot a stake here, and I cant help but feel that us EQ'ers are a dying breed. Each successive generation of MMO's that comes along steals a few more away permanently. Combine that with the fact that most of us are getting to the age where we are married with kids and career building, time is becoming a commodity and must be rationed.
Improved textures could go a long way towards possibly attracting a few new players and keeping the old. I know my wife for one will not roll a character because she finds them "ugly". This may not completely fix her impression, but it will certainly breath some fresh air into the game for people like her. We cant do much about models, but textures seem to be a viable way to improve the game we all love.
Again, great work, and I second (or third) the "sticky" for this thread - there are a lot of folks out there that might be able to help.
