What you're saying is something like this: ****** is pejorative while holocaust isn't and therefore the comparison is invalid. Like I said before, if the name were explicitly "Jewish Genocide" it would
still be inappropriate, even though "Jewish Genocide" is not explicitly pejorative. Therefore, whether or not a term is pejorative is irrelevant to the criteria. If a significant portion of the population considers the two to be synonyms, the name "Holocaust" is not appropriate either for the same reason. That's why the comparison was used.
