That's mainly what I was afraid of. When the majority of the low level population is twinks and powerlevelees I doubt any of them will want some scrub rogue packing around newbie Daggers or an Enchanter with npc cloth. Having leveled up through several characters now I can't think of one instance in a group where someone was rejected because of their gear.
