J/K but seriously though, most indie rock today is either ripping off
Joy Division or
Siouxsie & the Banshees.
My wife listens to most of that stuff, not that I don't enjoy some of it.
The basics include:
Pixies, Modest Mouse, Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Muse, Metric, etc... the usual.
Is that what you wanted to hear? Not even sure where I would place Gorillaz...
