Assuming Arkansas beats LSU (big big big assumption) it creates a 3 way tie in SEC west. IF Arkansas wins that game they will be ranked higher than LSU. The question is whether or not LSU will be ranked above Alabama. If Arkansas beats LSU and is ranked higher than them, and LSU stays ranked higher than Alabama -- then Arkansas wins the tiebreaker and plays in the SEC championship and, in all likelihood, the BCS National Championship.
If Arkansas beats LSU and the rankings are Arkansas->Alabama->LSU then Alabama wins the tiebreaker and plays in the SEC CG and, in all likelihood, the BCS National Championship. In this scenario, the Sugar Bowl is free to select whichever team it wants and will likely choose LSU. 10-1 and top 3 Arkansas, ranked above LSU, will play in the Capital One bowl. (LOL)
Crazy shit.
