Swapping has its place. Last time I did it was in the 30s on live between a SBD and Glowing Iron Pike. The extra 1dmg was more hassle and than it was worth because it adds one more thing to deal with on top of positioning and aggro. 3dmg makes sense if you have the means. On our server I never saw these being sold but on P99 they seem relatively affordable.
The people who have a C spear in the bag for BS swapping are clearly pulling the last numbers out of the class for this point in progression. I applaud ye
