Still, I think I would still give the edge to the Crys Spear over a Trak Tooth. Fight per fight your gonna see more peaky dmg but at max level and double backstab 3 mainhand damage is a big deal. A general guideline could be approximately (I do mean approx) 1 dmg for 5 delay penalty. Going for speed at max mainhand bonus your melee will climb and your BS will drop which means per fight your average will be more consistent and your sole dependence on BS drops.
Fact is with a rogue at max level even with a Jade Prod and anything in your offhand the class mechanics will produce massive numbers. |
Yeah the Crystalline Spear is pretty expensive. If one wants to spend a bit more to get a slight improvement over the trak tooth, I would think a better idea would be the Rapier of Orin (12/25 +5 str +5 sta +5 agi) which runs I think 25kish or less. I would think that would outdps the Crystalline Spear's (13/30, no stats). Spear also costs a little more I think.
