Only problem is with the new pet exp nerf that combo will not be able to get the same exp as before patch. You can still do it if you just charm in pairs and then break charm and kill pet before you kill the other mob, but its not as efficient mana-wise nor is it as easy as just charming an uber pet and destroying everything in its path. It's unclear if pet exp nerf only applies to soloing or if it is the same in groups.

You shouldn't need to break charm AND kill the pet. Breaking charm should be enough to wipe the damage tally of the chanter's charmed pet, even if they recharm it. At least that is how I think it works....
