Try out some different levels of wisdom and see how much mana you get per wisdom. Evaluate the scenario and then consider +mana (and possibly +hp, depending on your class) items as alternatives.
I think above 200 the return per wisdom is a little weak. Plus, everybody knows that having huge hp is way cooler
