If you're playing to be uber, then that's the risk you take. That's always been true in EQ. The devs certainly don't owe you anything for the time you chose to put into the game. The competitive raiding scene on most classic EQ servers completely sucked -- which is why so many players rushed to new servers as they launched.

Actually, no. You pay nothing and you get a free approximation of classic EQ to play with other enthusiasts. Go pay Sony to whine about your level 60 raiding and customer service experiences. They'll care a little bit less that the Devs here, but at least you'll actually be entitled to complain.
