I am indifferent as far as my personal time is concerned. I can get to 50 on a fresh server in a matter of a few weeks and my current 50 isn't geared. So it would only be a minor annoyance for me to start over after only a month and some change invested in my current chars. I started too late to pick up rubi and a manastone, and not having a manastone makes being a res bitch a whore. Sure having one would make me a bit less likely to tell people to go fuck themselves when they ask for a res... But I'll live.
That said I have the feeling that a good number of people (mostly those who are not yet 50 imo) will quit if they suddenly have to again spend the three months it took them to level to 40. Most people value their time, and play MMORPGs for a persistant experience, not a constantly levelled playing ground. *shrug*
A new server post kunark or velious might be fun I guess. Though I mostly think it would just drain away a nice chunk of the current p99 crowd, then you'd have 2 underpopulated servers, people getting bored faster, and quitting faster. At least that is what I see happening.
