Bump.
I bottle 5 gallons of this tonight after I get home from playin pool and the sorts:
6lb light malt extract (light base)
5 oz chocolate malt (flavor, color)
8 oz dextrin malt (body)
8 oz 6-row american malt (flavor, lightness)
1lb crystal 60l (caramel flavor)
2 oz east kent golding and 3 oz fuggle hops (meld well together, offers a mellow earth flavor)
whitbread english ale yeast (slightly fruity but lets the malts do the talking)
Overboard on malts? Perhaps. It's so cheap to buy grains that I'm not concerned, just more interested in the outcome.
