Apparently this could be misconstrued. Let me reitirate so it sounds slightly less insulting:
Your behavior probably mimicked that of an animal that would cause the german shepard to kick in its instinct to 'herd' thereby leading to nipping at the buttocks. german shepards are saints and do not attack out of aggression unless they were mistreated or poorly cared for by their owner.
