As someone who played classic EQ but never PVP i am loving this server right now. I have died at the hands of another player far more times then i have a killed a player but the difficulty that PVP adds to the game makes me feel so much more immersed in the world. I rolled a halfling and i have to strategically use Hide for example, just to get through some zones, or retrieve a corpse. I am thinking in ways i would never think on a blue server. And the community as a whole, will kill you without hesitation, but not one person has been insulting towards me or corpse camped me.
They will kill you if the opportunity arises, but not in a way that makes you not want to log in again. At least for me in this small sample size.
The forums really don't do the actual play experience justice.
