Most everyone has ancestors that have been treated poorly in the past, enslaved, murdered, raped, whatever. Obviously American slavery/racism is more recent so maybe that excuses it to some degree? I don't know. Either way I don't understand how anyoen can behave that way for any reason and feel that not only is it okay but that it's a valuable skill to be passed on to their offspring. It disgusts me tbh.
