Any uprising these days would have to be civil. Violence doesn't really work as well as it did in the old days. An axe for chopping trees vs a sword or a hunting rifle vs a military issued rifle aren't so far off that one is completely incapable of competing with the other. However have you seen what the US military does to the militaries of other countries who not only are better armed than the US Populace but also haven't been sitting on their asses suckling at the tit of a government that wipes their asses their whole lives.

But let's get real for a second. I, like the majority of my American brethren, don't give enough of a fuck either way to do anything about it. As long as the internet porn is good, I can feed myself and my family, and make enough to live comfortably without breaking a sweat, I certainly am not lifting a finger.

That's unlikely to change in my lifetime no matter how much doom and fear the republicans preach about the brown man or how much doom and fear the democrats preach about the environment dying. The fact that the American populace on both sides of the political spectrum is too fucking stupid to realize that both sides want to fuck them equally hard under different premises is enough to ensure our doom in the end. I just don't think it will happen soon enough for me to care. That's reality. Thank god I am white and grew up a computer nerd. /ezstreet
