On vztz clerics were pretty sick, if its going to be a legit old world server then they may not be as powerful but they are still very useful. group pvp clerics are pivotal, even when they are being targeted and using DA. Provides just enough of a diversion to assist on a target. The trick to cleric pvp is finding a spot thats hard to reach or provides you some safe distance from attack so you can sit back and throw heals off, otherwise cleric stuns are pretty sick, especially if sound of force gets put in.
You will suck at first, you will die a lot but you just have to be constantly aware of your surroundings and prepare for anything. EQ PVP, once you play it you will never go back blue again.
