Rap and Hip-Hop are interchangable terms (just odd to refer to something as 'rap music' when the song contains no vocals, ie. DJ Shadow's work). Hip-Hop can also be used for the subculture wherein rap music was created. The non-existent difference is usually used by elitist tools who don't know what they're talking about or just people who don't know what they're talking about.
Why this is mentioned in a Chris Brown and Rihanna thread I don't know. Both make contemporary R&B/Pop music. But when you combine the 'no emotion' comment and the labeling of Chris Brown as rap music, it's clear that bakkily is #43803422438093 in a long line of idiots who bitch and moan about rap music but have no real knowledge of the genre. Possibly uses the word '******' a lot, mostly online. Maybe not though, it would fit the stereotype but it's not a necessity. Most likely American and listens to metal predominantly.

Seriously? what does being american and listening to metal have anything to do with ignorance towards a particular genre of music? I listen to hip-hop/rap, mostly underground shit, but I also enjoy many different genres of metal. To me your comment is just as ignorant as anyone who failed to bring up the differences between rap/hiphop and pop/rnb while posting in this thread.
