I think the reversion back to the grey out had to do with this.
I never actually checked to see how it worked after it was reverted or fixed since I don't play a monk but when I did create an alt to make that bug report I had zoned back and forth 18 times and had hit mend 18 times in a matter of just a few minutes, maxing my skill. The mend ability actually worked as opposed to the button just popping up.
Draulius, can you provide more information such as zonelines and if the mend ability actually works? There are a lot of conflicting pieces of evidence in this thread already.
