You also don't downrank 100 hp BiS items over 3 MR. MR is cumulative over all of your gear. The difference of 97 vs 100 or 252 vs 255 or whatever is not worth it to give up 100 hp.

On a fight like Klandicar, a single 100 HP item won't matter if you spend the entire fight feared. Ring slots are often swapped for resist gear.
A person who is just starting out may be using
Velium Jacinth Wedding Ring to boost MR while they wait for better gear. That is +9 MR over Ring of Restruction. That was my point. I wouldn't get a Ring of Destruction as my first BiS item if I am sorely lacking resist gear.
