Fake news
False. I was hoping Fuse would be different after the merge, but it's the same leadership and the same politics. One person removed me—it wasn't the guild that had a problem with me.
In fact, during the few hours I was back in Fuse, the reception from the guild was overwhelmingly positive. I even joined a Ring War raid for you guys. I received numerous messages from people who remembered me and were happy to see me back. Not one guild member sent me anything negative, and nobody from leadership even bothered to have a conversation before making their decision.
Fuse has a few bad apples, but the majority of the guild was great. Unfortunately, those same few people are still clinging to power over a battle they lost years ago.
Your comment perfectly illustrates the toxicity I'm talking about. It only reinforces my decision to withdraw my application and find a guild that values what I bring to the table instead of recycling old grudges.
One final point: the story about Invis and VoG never happened. Anyone who's actually raided with me knows my reputation. On my very first day in Riot, I mem-blurred Aaryonar and saved the raid from wiping. I've played Enchanter at the highest level for decades. Before trying to lecture me on how to play the class, earn the reputation to do so.
And while we're talking about character, I left Riot voluntarily with a mountain of DKP and never abused it to loot everything I could on the way out. That says far more about my integrity than any rumor ever will.
At the end of the day, it's a game—not a soap opera. Riot and Fuse have become more about politics and drama than simply enjoying EverQuest.
