Maybe also an aggro range issue? The master is described as aggroing while Fay is still in the water, which seems pretty far. Presumably his aggro range shouldn't intersect with the bloated belly though or you'd see complaints about it.

This guy soloes the Faydedwar 2 hours after it pops... What happens is when the zone repops after a patch or what not, the faydedwar (lvl 61 sea dragon) pathing causes it to run close to the iksar master, at which time he promptly runs off of his perch and starts to beat the crap out of it...
Its really a site to see, The Faydedwar deathmarching while Iksar master quads for 370's on em, then casually walks back to his lil mountain perch with 1/2 health or so, EVERY SINGLE TIME, this guy soloes the Faydedwar, otherwise i wouldnt be able to use my beloved TD firepots...
How do i know he soloes faydedwar? well two of my main char are iksar, and everytime i go to the firepots i stop by and say hi. One day i was training with my monk with this guy and as im training iksar master bolts to the right side of the island, and faydedwar comes out of the water and BAM! they collide, Faydedwar does some AE's and iksar master continues to wail away with quads from around 200-370 dmg a punch, flying kicks for around 300 or so.... the battle lasts around 5-6 minutes with the Iksar master beating the crap outta the oversized fish... This happens approx. 2 hours after any zone repop in TD.

Sounds like Fay's spawn point and path should also be static? I'm under the impression that isn't the case on P99, but I might just be bad at pulling Fay.
